About Me

Hi, I’m Sherry.

I was raised in Yreka, where my family has lived since 1969. After graduating from high school, I moved away, but Siskiyou County always held a special place in my heart.

Over the years, I visited often, always drawn back by the mountains, small towns, and the slower pace of life. And by my family, of course.

Now I’m back in Yreka and have been living here for over a year. I’m always looking for new trails, discovering tucked-away swimming holes, and finding the best spots to eat, relax, and soak up everything this incredible corner of Northern California has to offer.

Whether you’re a local looking for weekend ideas or a visitor planning your trip, I hope this site helps you experience the best of Siskiyou County.
